After breakfast, You will be taken to visit the third deepest canyon in the world “Blyde River Canyon”.It’s an
easy, relaxing day trip from the Kruger National Park highlighted with fascinating and informative information by our experienced, native guides. This vast escarpment is the sort of place where brochures and
guidebooks are bereft of expressive adjectives to describe the unsullied mountain scenery and magnificent panoramic views. Viewpoints overhang cliffs that rise 600m-800m from the riverbed.
The canyon extends over twenty kilometres and we’ll stop at many breathtaking viewing points.
Short walks are scheduled along precipices and longer hikes, if you’re up for it, wind through mountain
rain forests teaming with exotic birds, rare flowering shrubs and towering, showering waterfalls.
Stops and hikes at God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Pinnacle, Lisbon Falls, the Three Rondavels and other spectacular viewing points are scheduled depending on time constraints.
After our last panoramic stop we then make our way back to Johannesburg to arrive at your Lodge or
airport in the late evening.
