Overview

You will leave almost no carbon footprint on this safari whose main highlight is the rare white rhinos. This Eco-friendly tour takes you into the Musi-oa Tunya national park for a walk through nature. You will be guided by an experienced and knowledgeable safari guide who will show you some of our animals which include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest , warthogs, primates, antelopes, elephants to mention but a few. The bush’s fantastic flora: teaks, mahoganies, mopanes and marula trees which for elephants are a real delicacy are some interesting plants you will find.

The Walking safaris through the Musi-Ou-Tunya national park and surrounding areas are suitable for active and adventurous participants.

Note: Participants coming from Zimbabwe are met at the Zimbabwean border and transferred to the starting point for an additional fee (please select at checkout if needed).

Itinerary

Depending on the season we pick you between 06:30H and 6:40 for the morning walk and between 14:30H and 14:40H for the afternoon walk from any Hotel or Lodge in Livingstone. We pick up from the Zimbabwean border at 06:10H and 14:10H respectively. 

After pick up you will head to entrance of the park where a short registration for entry in the park is done after which you will be dropped off at the start point. After the walk you get back on a vehicle to go to a picnic spot where teas and coffees will be shared.

The Tour in the park will last approximately three hours. The tour can be rushed for participants requiring to leave early.
